This is the same with me. Bright, sunny days with no clouds blind me. I've started wearing and carrying around sunglasses to rectify this.

I just angle my head down, what really gets me are those streetlamps at night, I have stigmatism so they're really annoying, I don't think I'll ever be able to drive well at night.

If you wear glasses you can get transitions lenses. The more the sun attacks me, the darker they get. Truly a great invention.
