Rumors about the Talentless Girl were already floating around, and her "lowborn father" suddenly showing up feeds into them with the juiciest story possible. It would be silly if most didn't believe it.

Was going to post this for the last chapter, but here works too. My biggest issue with the shady assembly, is that some of the goals of their membership have a chasm too large to bridge. I mean, you have a faction that wants to get rid of the nobility and a faction that hates the commoners and wants to make them less relevant. I'm sorry, you don't those two factions to ally even if you have other factions as intermediaries. They are too diametrically opposed in their goals and no way in hell they look past those goals for some common goal.

Not to mention that the goals of said group are too diverse and conflicting for them to really keep their presence from being known. You'd get enough infighting and different interests, that their existence would have been leaked.

@Marchimarch YOU KNOW! you are absolutely right... i mean we as the audience don't even know if she is a legit child of the Angel family ether so how could anyone truly dispute it.

im just flabbergasted on how this guy comes out of nowhere kicks the door down, beats the c**p out of a bunch of guards, Proclaimes that he is low born to everyone (making a show of it) and that melida was a bastard child, then runs away laughing and everyone believes him.......

i still like the story and wont stop its just a thing...

I've loosely been following the story so far, but it seems to progress relatively simply. I just want to know 1 thing though. Has MC even used his full power yet? I recall him being the top of the top or something, but he's ironically struggling a lot.

I wonder who that was. Surely not Serge himself? It had to be someone with enough power and skills to rule out getting caught/defeated with 100% certainty. Nonetheless, it almost has to be Serge's plan. The other party wanted to get rid of Melida quietly. Melida's real father just suddenly popping up right now seems more than a little too convenient, unless he's actually a part of Serge's toolbox.

@wotdheck to be fair the story isn't really about him as of yet. There are two MC's Kuufa and Melida. The story is mostly about her.
