This teacher character always just upsets me, this is my second time reading and it just frustrates me how this teacher is less supportive and more not only jealous but problematic. Teenagers are hella emotional and I don’t like the ideas that most adults perpetuate about how sex is bad or being in an invested relationship with someone at a young age is a horrible thing. Being in relationships teaches young people a lot of things about how others emotions work. It has had points but younger people shouldn’t be tied down by things like studying and knowledge to a fault of their happiness or satisfaction in life.
