Really, MC walked into that. Yes, these are completely different toys that probably have no reason to ever be together - but that isn't the point when you're playing with dolls. The point is the story creation, not the type of dolls.

Heck, if younger boys and girls were actually able to play together like that while agreeing with a story together (which, I admit, is very unlikely), I'd let them go with it.
