@XellosPY Nah, the one thing that stands out in Ryuu's character is his intelligence. Rather, it would be out of character for him to go with this cliche.

It is one of the few sports manga, especially football, that subverts almost all cliches and is incredibly grounded. I don't think many other manga come close to this. Maybe Giant Killing
