@Serenata I had the exact same thought. I just vacillated between it being a strange translation about "this is gonna cost" or some extra charge for a rush job, or just something I'd missed about the transport deal being something like "all expenses paid" (that he had actually chartered the trip instead of hiking along as a free bodyguard/escort).

But this was an amusing explanation. (Maybe someone had asked the mangaka the same question between magazine and tankoboun?)
