Here's my guess of the story.

The lady isn't actually a vampire.

She witnessed her husband die in a bloody manner, likely an accident.

As a result she's afraid to go outside, and the sight of blood changes her mood state.


Just a guess from what I've seen, though I could be totally wrong

@Kaarme The Mirror thing indeed isn't always a thing. In fact it originated due to the fact that mirrors used to be backed with silver, and since silver is a "clean" and "purifying" metal it won't reflect a vampire's image. Nowadays I don't think most mirrors are silver backed so even if "traditional" mirrors wouldn't show a reflection most modern ones would.

I also have never seen a "vampire" that didn't have some sort of fangs. Some are just sharper canines, many "grow" and a few retract, but they always seem to have them.

She had a ring on her finger, indicated shes married ? But no husband was in sight ?? she'd said she was alone.
As for her being a vampire, it seems she has the symptoms. Tho it appears she cant remember being attacked or what not. Its still possible shes just gone crazy.. But we need a further investigation to what happened.
