Blades of the Guardians - Ch. 66.2 - Di Ting and Kui Zhi (Part 2)

A very philosophical question. Why are any of us still alive? I'm sure it will be debated heartily next chapter, drawing on the arguments of famous thinkers.
 
That last question might be because he knew MC as a ruthless killer.

Kind of reminds me of Yongbi.
 
They spend the next few chapters with a vibrant and highly philosophical discussion on what it is to be alive, the merits of the individual, and the abiding drive which unites us all.
 
Oddly enough, manga is my escape from the need to question, "Why?" The older I get (I'm 29 now) the more I recognize patterns in life, the more the cyclical futility of everything becomes apparent. Wether or not there even is a meaningful answer to the question, I fear that we are are far from privy to that information.
