So cockroaches may survive nuclear fallout, but not for very long.

Does that mean that these 'bug' assassin can survive fallout since they seem to be able to do everything their namesake can?

There was no story advancement but lots of character building, that's clearly what we need to insert new characters into the story an it seems the author really is in a hurry to use these characters freely in the main storyline. Very much appreciated.

@HailBritannia_ I can agree there. As much as I want to see Alice already, we know who she is. If this story intends to have a second main lead, it naturally needs to spend a bit of time early on to let us know them and do so outside of Alice's shadow, because otherwise she'll be overshadowed too early on.
