Every girl gets their own volume in the LN, so there's not much focus on them until their respective volumes(for instance, Nui gets this chapter mostly because she's the focus of the next volume). SID is the group of the four girls from this chapter who all like Makoto and they all banded together to kinda keep each other in check, which fell apart when Maka confessed to him.
