@sezaru He was seen using rasengan and toad kuchiyose so my bet is he must have a connection to either Jiraiya or the 4th.

Popular theory is that he is someone using Jiraiya's body (somehow). His eyes were seen to be similar to Jiraiya's and he has similar eye markings (the straight lines below the eyes). Kara talks a lot about 'vessels', so maybe corpses can serve as one of these 'vessels'.
