MC's a cuck? What? Izumi was paired off with Nakamura from the get go, and Kikuchi is still interested in the MC, and although disappointed, still retains a positive impression of him. To begin with, he doesn't own any girls to give in the first place.

I swear, retarded logic like this is why people are still mad about Kayo from Erased. They just can't stop self-inserting, and get mad when an MC does something they wouldn't. It feels like harems have spoiled people into thinking every girl in the same universe belongs to the MC and you're a cuck if they think otherwise.

The long-term pay-off of this chapter is that he opens up future plans with the bibliophile, and by defending his "bully", he establishes a good impression with the "bully's" real friends, and slightly prepares the foundation for the "bully's" character development. The MC supports his "bully" and his "disciple" in their budding romance too.
 
Did he try to make the brown-hair guy, instead of candidate girls, have a crush on him? It could be called a big success, actually.

Dude said exactly what he felt and was sincere to his own feelings, and was straight up about his beta behavior before. Lying about dumb shit like what books you like is pretty weak.

Sure, the asshole deserved to be reemed but the bitch he called out as a bitch deserved it too. Pretty much “bros before hoes” even if the “bro” here is a bit of an asshole. Would be pretty lame if he went easy on the dude too.

I mean, yeah. Dude is awkward as fuck but he’s getting over it. Can’t expect perfection out the gate
 
Spoilers: If someone uses beta or cuck or normalfag or any of that shit you can probably put them on ignore and safely not miss anything important. Plenty of people making good comments in threads to waste your time refuting people who legitimately use those terms.

Anyways, this chapter was kinda hurt by them drawing out him telling that chick off in such an awkward way when he repeated himself multiple times and didn't just say his shit, but the beginning and end were really solid; he was honest with her at a time when it would hurt her the least and not ruin any potential friendship/romance later on (as you don't want to base your relationship on a lie and then continue keeping the lie alive) and then he was smooth as fuck with that invite which shows he's gotten a lot more confident as well as okay with rejection when it comes to people he's developing an actual solid relationship with.

Coulda cut down on the middle part as it was essentially a point we got 3 or 4 pages in and it went on for 15.
 
@Talismaster the guy always spout the same bullshit and claim it as bait/trolling whenever he's losing ground. Better to just block him and stay healthy.
