Wow this manga is so deep, maybe it is sensitive for some people but i think the way author explicitly tell the story this way is so that we can feel the horror and sadness the character have. I think the author did a good job on that but yeah maybe it was too graphic for some people.

I can see why some might feel the scene was in bad taste. For me in general, I think he'd have had enough trauma and baggage for the story to work if the teacher just stopped talking him if he saw he was a boy, in addition to his mother's imprinting. Anyway it happened, we shall see how it goes.

Sure, this may be an abrupt shift in tone, and it may be drawn like an eroguro, but i don't think it's necessarily bad, it's probably the best chapter yet. Eroguro is supposed to be equal parts arousing and disgusting, so that whoever is aroused by blood and mutilation may rethink their choices a little, and this is reinforced by the sick stories that commonly have some social critique, at least more emphasized than they would be in an incest ntr doujinshi. I think this is doing that too.
Read Geiger Counter. It's unironically a masterpiece.
