Does this suggest the princess currently in Krishna is an assassin meant to kill the only competent military leader Krishna sports? It's a suicide mission, of course, but perhaps it's in exchange for the other twin's life. I'm still not sure what Sagares saw when he read the papers. Did he even explain it to anyone?
It also looks like Orlando isn't as naive anymore, so Zess thinking they will collapse with a little push is probably wishful thinking. He needs to wait a little longer before imagining the grand genocide of all but ethnic Athens citizens he envisions. It's also ridiculous there seems to be no internal dissidence in Athens. The more you tighten the screw, the more resistance you encounter. That's just how it goes.
