Is this guy paying for Ren’s apartment or something, it’s the only thing I can think of besides school tuition? What’s the exchange otherwise?
I get where Haruto is coming from. His wanting to help but not knowing how and if he really needs to. He asked and Ren said he was just sick
. A “normal” kid wouldn’t have behaved like Ren and might have said something or given a clue. But Ren thinks this is perfectly normal and that it’s what he should do, so there’s no outward signs of him being abused. That’s what makes Haruto so reluctant to intervene.
