This is the worst. If I didn't know that it's better from here I'd drop the series here because of how awful this chapter is.

Honestly, this chapter is controversial for me. That's like some inner turmoil type shit, but I'm not going to write it off as a "Bad/poorly written" chapter.

Yeah, no. He put a nail through your foot, locked you up without giving any reasoning aside from "I don't like you", and forcefully injected unknown substances into your body. Why should he get sympathy because he wanted to buy you some flowers? This is a really ham fisted way to both write a partial redemption, and to force Atsushi to move on.
