They have to make sure that guy can't use the sword/can't move before they deal the finishing blow. The sword must be awaaaaaay. That sword is a cheat in itself.

Hey Chuuya, where are you? It would be a perfect time to appear now after so long lol. Maybe you can use your gravity manipulation or something to hold that man down and restrain every possible movement. Ofc you have to do it the moment you appear.
But just a thought. I wonder if Tachihara is capable of stealing that sword from Fukuchi using his metal manipulation. He'd have to do it when Fukuchi's not on guard tho and he'd have to destroy it before Fukuchi attacks him lol.
