It could be that Hyper is killed and his ideals with him.
Maybe the people he helped has something to do with it. For Great to have become some that executes on site, the ideal that Hyper believes in should be destroyed in front of Great(assuming Great looks up to Hyper and his beliefs that is).
Oh well, let's see what the future holds.

Hyper for sure is going to be killed by letting some criminal go. Writing is on the wall there and would explain Great's current views. Sucks, Hyper is a boss.

This flashback arc is one of the most engaging sections of a very engaging series. Humanizes and explains Great so much, which his character really needed.

Goddammit author Hyper is such a nice guy, knowing that he wont survive this, that Block 5 becomes a shit hole, and that on top of it all Great wont carry his legacy infuriates me.
