Can "Sexual violence" tag can be further be sub divided? like "Trauma/PTSD" "abusive" "frequency" "Reverse" etc

Considering that the staff already seems to be have a poor grasp on the "sexual violence" tag already, slapping it onto works for the mildest of things, I think this would only lead to more badly tagged stuff.

One could make the case that more specific tags could lead to better tagging instead, but that involves having more faith in the staff than I have.

@bigtiddyoneesan I don't personally feel like OP's suggestion would be useful because Sexual Violence already implies some sort of long term effect on the victim. I made my comment to make fun of people who look down on others who know their limits and like having easier ways to navigate them.

I think there's probably some gaps for similar tags like this, but I'm not invested enough in this right now to do the research. And they're probably fringe cases anyway. Things like implied physical torture, or maybe psychological torture.

@Gian I think more than just staff can tag manga. I know group leaders can.

As a survivor of childhood sexual trauma myself, even I gotta downvote this. Getting too specific with tags gets too deep into spoiler territory. If you can't handle it, don't read it. "Sexual violence" is enough of a trigger warning. (Though, I might agree that there is a difference between mentions of violence and actual depictions, perhaps MD should just not tag mere mentions of violence in manga as Sexual violence unless it's actually shown in a page.)

I'll have to go with -1 , considering how splitting tags like this could get overly specific and numerous real fast, similar to how Novelupdate's tags are so dense you'd mostly just ignored them, but also likely to be less useful than hentai tags that'd told you what to expect without getting too specific.

I think there could just be a "mild sexual violence" tag and/or proper guideline on what'd warrant that "sexual violence" tags.

I kinda just wanted to broaden the tag sexual violence. I am the type to choose what I read, but spend some quality time on it. So it's kinda hard to gloss over "meh, okay".

Sometimes reviews hit the centre, sometimes they don't. That's why moderated tags are good incase u can't find good review.

I am not expecting ridiculous tags like novel updates.

@pendragon_alexander yea probably scanlation group can give small heads up maybe hiding it under spoiler (coz some might pt it out as spoiler) or may be pt it out in indirect manner. Would be nice if mods accept it and mention such.

Tags can be kept hidden, if getting story spoiled is what u are worried abt.

Finally, some ppl **sighs** seriously got serious issues. They are completely out of context.
