Can't filter Shojo manga

New filter seems not working as intended. The genre i want to filter is shojo, josei stuff. I have shonen ai and shojo ai blacklisted. But today i saw a shojo manga My Girlfriend is a Real Man https://mangadex.org/title/29484/my-girlfriend-is-a-real-man on Latest Update.

@respwn It's because the filter doesn't include demographic. That manga is within gender swap genre, which somewhat along within the 'gay' tag family and that's why there's no Shounen ai tag there.

@421cookies I thought gender-swap which is not similar but very close to gender-bender genre and has nothing to do with shoujo. Either way demographic or not I want to filter Shoujo manga.

I guess i have read somewhere that the filters only work when you search

@Salamander002 I believe s/he means it as the tag exclusion feature. The one that you find in setting.

Yes, the one under the setting page "genre filter". some demografic genre are missing, which I want to filter.

@421cookies seems like I remembered wrong as it literaly says in the settings

Select tags to exclude from the frontpage, latest chapter updates, and chapter lists from manga and group pages.
The search and the user's MDList will ignore this setting and use their individual filter functionality instead.

and it's really weird that I haven't noticed how the exclusion lacks the demographics
