Cesare Borgia lmao. This guy had a man sawed in half, if I remember correctly. I think Machiavelli talks about him in The Prince as an example of the best use of brutality. Quick wikipedia tells me Lucrezia is also in Machiavelli's book, and Cesare doesn't marry her, so that might answer the questions on incest.

Edit: Holy shit just read to chapter 8. I approve of the incest, the way they played the story out is amazing, Miku having resistance, if not immunity to poison. The lore behind Cantarella is cool too. XD
