@icarushector Didn't you see the foreshadowing?
1. Call from government official to pretty much become 'people who defeat evil monsters that are plaguing the world'
2. White hair kid starts talking about being heroes
2. MC keeps saving the dude that HE JUST SAVED from monsters. He could start running away from the dude or jump up to buildings to get a distance. They are in a monster and illegal territory. The dude bothering could cause a commotion.

4. We get evil gangsters farming gold from dead bodies. They will probably die to MC. Why? bc they kill prob
thus, he becomes hero-type character. though, he prob will be an edgy lone wolf type.
 
Yea i wasn't saving that dude...he comes in somewhere dangerous even tho he can't do anything and then shamelessly asked to be carried...this just means he's gonna find an easier way to die

@SweatyBrie he's not though? He's not remotely struggling for cash now and he's done the bare minimum to not be personally responsible for the kid's death. Hardly a heroic type.
 
Annoying leech buys the drug, takes it, and dies, or become a monster for our MC to hunt down, either way, GOOD. FUCKING. RIDDANCE. I can tolerate annoying characters to some degree but whew does this kid just rub me the wrong way. I know I’m useless but let me piggyback off you anyway and drag you down and maybe blackmail you in the future and think you’re the cause of all my misery. Okay that’s probably not what’s gonna happen and I’m being to harsh on the kid but he’s still very annoying to me.

^ honestly my main dispute with what you said. he has more money than most of us readers will see in our lifetime. He's not even remotely a sacrificing soul.

If you want a story about some guy who profits off a disaster they are partially responsible for and never lifts a finger to help others except when it directly benefits them, watch the news I guess.
 
@7Lotus I didn't mean it to be a roast, and I was going to make an actual recommendation... But most stories that start like that I drop because that's not my cup of tea, and can't say for certain if they stay that way or not.
 
This is the prime example of 'bus begggar' like in many games, at least grind it on ur own or help for carrying the loots, you can at least hv some share that way.
 
Like most of you have already said, this kids' gonna die a horrific death when he takes the drug or become the annoying comedic relief character, that everyone hates cause he's basically saved by plot armor... likely not, but I see for my self when I click to the next chapter.
 
The plot is so BS in many level
1. MC is very selfish to not share the power
2. Female soldier is too dumb. She should share the power ASAP for the military
3. MC don't want to be discovered but still hang around with this mob guy.
4. Time skip is BS
5. You care about responsibility but not spread the power. BS
