Knowing the author its either that the MC will never get the help he needs and the story ends on a bitter note, the MC does get help from a third party or love interest but it is slow and painful by the end the MC comes to terms within themselves not letting the past hold them back, or ends of some very trippy shit that is left to reader interpretation.
