The fuck do you mean "stop"? That's like telling a depressed person to "stop" being depressed. So fucking irrational that it's shocking that the author turned her into a bitch.

yeah no, this series is cool and all. but this whole time while reading it, i've felt uneasy and a little queasy, maybe because it's somewhat realistic yet not, in that uncanny valley way. but this kind of broke it, i hate to use the word, but i cringed. every single time the MC actually gains the courage to do something or actually say something important, she just shuts him down for an arbitrary reason. it feels like the author does this for tension but forces smoker girl to say why she shuts him down in such an ostentatious way so that it makes the shitty dialogue that spew out come off as pretentious.
