So Pieta can directly affect who can and won't be in the loop or did her doppelganger just stick her in an alternate loop while best girls Danae and Chiaro are still stuck in the original trying to figure things out. This is an interesting development though, it seems like Pietalter is nervous or at least against Pieta finishing her homework otherwise she would have stalled Pieta until the reset occurred.

Concerning the 1,032nd time, does it refer to being alone in the loop, or has she also been looping inside the loop, becoming friends only to have this remarkably bad day?

It is probably just days in the loop in general since she was still cheerful in the first chapter, but because the clock changed we can't say for certain... Maybe she periodically redoes this whenever she manages to forget about it.

I also really liked the discussion about how best to exit the loop, and while the spiral it sent Pieta down caught me by surprise, the way she thought about their desperation to escape the loop was really interesting. Thanks to the scanlators for this one, it's good.
