Cool Japan Fund Invests US$30 Million in Sentai Holdings

Cool Japan Fund announced yesterday that it has invested $30 million in Sentai Holdings, LLC, the parent company of Sentai Filmworks, HDIVE, and Anime Network. The announcement that was made noted the following:

Sentai's independent status makes it a rarity in North America as a licensor of Japanese anime.

The CEO of Sentai Filmworks added that the investment allow the company to further [its] potential by expanding and deepening [its] long-running support of the Japanese anime industry.”
