This is actually an excellent concept for a horror character. I'm sure some of ya'll can point out cartoons or books in which that was already a thing.
A character which creates horrific monsters, but the character itself isn't evil. Just delirious, in-trance, or extremely tired, lol. I can imagine such a thing appearing in Courage the Cowardly Dog.

Flora's 'zone' is quite a scary unhealthy looking process, i hope that it was partially because of some other outside effect and not because of the art alone

I don't think that's a great idea, she is already very exhausted and now using creepy cat as a costume would just make the matter worse.
Now that I think about it, Is creepy cat cosy from the inside? Cause Flora doesn't seems to care about it anymore.

Having all the painting boxes wrapped up like a Japanese funeral picture is a nice touch.

Starting to suspect Flora's ability + notebook caused some major occult crisis when she and Oscar were students, and Oscar had to get rid of the notebook to either banish all the summoned creatures or something along those lines. Which may have caused his apparent memory loss of what he did with the notebook, as maybe the act made all the memories of the event, or at least the paranormal aspects, vanish along with the entities.

no, the paint didn't caused her to be tired but rather there's another factor that we've seen in the series and no, Flora didn't summon anything like cthulu and Creepy is too nice to suck away her lifespans
