I absolutely loved chapter 6. I have good feeling about this manga. It provoked feelings in me and i felt like I was with them in the mountains. Thanks so much for bringing this to all of us
The author tries so hard to keep it in the subtext, as if we are reading an official friendship manga, which only teases about the possibility of becoming a romantic. Why?
@Lilliwyt@Machaka22 The funny thing is that many, without any doubt, read this as an obvious development of romance, although even with the tag it is still extremely subtle and ambiguous. I also think I know where all this goggles shipping comes from, lol. I think it would have caused a lot of flame if the author had not at least tagged it on the internet.
@Sakuraayanami Lel, they are at least BFF at the moment, the affection is already blooming between them.
@SuperOniichan
I do wish some basic friendship comic would take a hard left into queersville some times.
I like a good surprise.
I recently read an untranslated BL manga (art by a woman story by a man, I believe) that was about a writing club of boys deciding to write BL, just out of love for the genre. Very cartoony big eyes art style.
Then gayness starts to happen... but it’s REAL AF. Angst, anxiety, genuine examination of their sexual orientations etc.
the ending was two boys crying and telling each other they’re too scared of how society will treat them to be in a homosexual relationship. They both speak of hoping to be ready someday, and will be going to the same college.
Then it just ENDS. Nothing else. It was perfect. It wasn’t a bad ending. It was a sad one.
