I think the previous chapters have been implying that the orange girl has feelings for MC. She probably can't accept her own crush - either because MC is a girl (so that would be some kind of internalized homophobia), or maybe because she's plain looking? - and bullies her because of that. Hence why the bullying is now worse because this time, she's jealous that MC is closer to Suyeon.
So obviously she wasn't gonna admit it to MC
