Hm, indeed. As standalone it has quite pacing problem, even as anime watcher it can be seen.
But also as anime watcher I see this as better version of the franchise

Yeah a little bit rushed, but I think Yabuki intention was to not repeat the two moments between Hiro and zero two in the episodes 13-14-15 , just this.

Regarding the pacing, remember that the original plot is the anime, so in the manga the story can't be too much deep or different, they already changed a lot (luckily), I only hope they will change and add more details to the ending.

The problem is that the next chapter is scheduled to be released on 15 December...1 month >.<

13-15 is where the anime peaked. Err, 13 AND 15 are where the anime peaked. We try to ignore the shitfest in 14.
Anyways, Yabuki Kentaro has saved Darling in the Franxx.

As long as Yabuki doesn't shit the bed,and go with the VIRM ALIENS like the anime did,I'm 100% OKAY with this manga adaptation.Keep with war between "humans" and Klaxxosaurs on earth,don't shoe-horn the battle into space unless they go directly to APE HQ.Again,please no stupid random,"We were aliens all along!",BS.
