databases seem out of sync

it seems like the databases are getting out of sync. In the general section, in the thread "I can't comment why" I posted a response about 40 minutes ago. After I refreshed the window it showed the last post was sterven's from 3 hours ago. I went into the thread and my post wasn't there, thought maybe I had hit the cancel instead of submit. I refreshed the General window, my post showed up as the most current in the list with a note saying 30+ minutes ago, follow the link and the post is there. After a few minutes refreshed again it is back to sterven and the post from 3 hours ago. When I started this thread it showed mine as most recent at 40 minutes. I refreshed stervens is back with 3 hours ago. I'm not a quick typer plus I jumped back to the window to get the correct thread title, plus took a quick look at a manga thread. I figure it has been at least 5 to 10 minutes, so 45 to 50 minutes and sterven's post still shows up and sometimes it is mine.

Maybe that's why I'm not seeing that little eye icon next to chapters light up after reading them.

They were, it's been fixed since the webserver restart yesterday.
