So, they dropped a nuclear bomb on the spaceship and they called it safe? Did they not account for the fallout that would occur after the detonation? (There is a note on the first chapter about uncontaminated food which makes me believe that is what they did.)

forum posts on pages 13 and 14: just lots of stuff like "the earth is fucked", "tokyo is over", some snippets of whats happening (smoke, explosions etc)
twitter posts on page 17: they're calling out a troll.
blog posts on page 17: Keita Ooba blog. "After his disappearance a year ago, Keita Ooba has been declared legally as per his family's wishes. Thank you everyone for your support until now."
keita ooba also appears on a poster in kadode's room on pages 5 and 7.
articles on page 18: "31st August: What were you doing on that day 2 years ago?", "Discovered a revolutionary way to masturbate lolololololo" "590 images I saved"
protestors on page 18: they're all complaining about the light conditions and how laundry wont dry. (presumably caused by the shadow cast by the mothership lmfao)
the viz volume release of this chapter has 2 entirely black pages between pages 16 and 17, which for some reason isnt in this upload. it has a single speech bubble of kadode saying she doesn't think her father will ever come home. total opposite of this translation here...
from what little snippets of japanese i can read from the version here, the Viz translations pretty faithful.
