I really like this series but the girl who can tell lies doesn't really help at all especially with Xeno being genius himself at deduction and the assistant who covers what he lacks. Look at the general asking her to become a lie detector to simply find the culprit. That kind of plot device is not needed in detective stories. At least she's cute tho.

Reminder that the reason why Xeno doesn't what to use her ability is that it actually causes her pain when people lie.

And it's probably going to fail because the killer manages to say things that are still true. (Also, some innocent person is going to be forced into making some false statements which seem incriminating.)

That lie detector is actually a sickness and it shortens her lifespan (I'm pretty sure this is said before in the manga) since she feels pain every time she detects lie, so forcing her to detect lies isn't a very humanly thing to do, no matter how powerful it is. Not to mention that she's also a normal human who can refuse when she wants to. I'm pretty sure author brought her into existence to make this dilemma.
