Devil May Cry 5 – Visions of V – - Vol. 2 Ch. 13

Funny, he went through all this trouble to go anonymously to Dante, but the way Dante acts in the game implies he already knows what's the deal with V, so will he just reveal his identity after the initial conversation or will the manga differ slightly from the game?

I think Dante partly knows or had a gut feeling, and iirc Trish told him V's story when they met up again in Qlipoth. I believe what caught him off-guard was V trying to absorb Urizen, he didn't expect he would try to fuse again.

V doesn't believe in Nero much, wonder if Dante mentioned something that caused him to change his mind after. Well..they got 15 days to hang out with each other so plenty of time to work together.

Dead-weight made an appearance. Also I don't know why it's kinda sad to see V having no common knowledge.... Definitely gonna bail my eyes out if they show the playground scene...

Thank you for the translation!!!!

@supermoonchrome
When Dante stabbed himself with the Rebellion he already knew full well that the Yamato could separate man from devil, so he already knew what went down with V and Urizen

@supermoonchrome You can see V forming the name Vergil in the cutscene for mission 10. Dante knew who Urizen was from the start. What he didn't realize that V was trying to be one with Urizen again.
