Honestly, If that was the reason for the creation of human race, I would be felling angry, disappointed, sad and hopeless.

That means that God created mankind and basic guide them for the only reason of discover his feelings and to confess to his/her love, all of human history, all our faith, dreams and hope just for it to get laid and be throw away for not need us anymore, if this was not a romantic comedy it would be a Cosmic Horror Story

don't worry, in reality the reason for the creation of the human race was that some amino acids got stuck in clay and were chemically attracted to each other to become the first strand of rna. god has never cared about you or anyone, if god exists. and honestly, why would god care? there's a whole universe of shit god made. and unless you believe all life is deterministic and thus not worth living, it would make more sense that god just created the baseline and let things turn into themselves, same way good parents allow their kids to develop into their own existence.

Wow this feels like a rather rushed climax. Feels like this series might have been cancelled when talking to the sister about the destiny stuff, and we've got a few more chapters to this series. If that is the case, I kinda wish it had ended with the last arc, it felt mostly conclusive and the question of the aliens was going to wait until after the vessels died of old age which is telling in of itself as to the conclusion they would make.
