These comments calling the MC dumb are from people literally not reading the same story as written. He can't reveal he reincarnated himself, especially now that he knows that his previous self is still alive.

Swordsman talks with their technique. This way, he can reveal something that only him and Dallas knows, their swordsmanship. (5th panel, pg. 8) Or at least, open a path of curiosity for Dallas about who is this Wals truly was.
