This manga's story progress hews a bit more closely to Tezuka Osamu's original manga.

The 2019 anime made some changes of its own.

Wow, this is very interesting! In every other version of Dororo including the original manga, the 1969 anime, 2019 anime and even the PS2 video game, it was Dr Jukai who found Hyakkimaru, but this manga made it so that Hibukuro (note that name for future references) found him! Don't even Google Hibukuro if you don't want spoilers.

This manga is similar to the original one but there are slight differences that it feels fresh to me! Baby Hyakkimaru is so cute and I seriously can't get enough of Dororo wearing a kimono!!

I see you guys already read the original manga and even other adaptions. That's good! Like all the comments said, this is more similar to the og manga than 2019 anime, but with a bit of changes here and there that makes the readers who have read the og still can be surprised.

i loved dororo anime and I can't read the original manga because I just dont like the older art work, loving this adaption and hikki talking and with attitude is a different experience for me.
