I'm not completely sure about what she did wrong with wash-dry, but I'd hazard a guess that she did a full machine (combined washing machines and driers usually can only take half a load on the drying cycle, so if you want to do both at once that means you're supposed to fill with that in mind). Or maybe it's that she ran a shirt in the drier? (Makes most of them wrinklier. But the pile did look more soggy than wrinkly.)
