Download chapter/volume as zip

the chapters is uploaded as zip right?
is it possible to make download chapter/volume feature?

i know tachiyomi let you do this with mangadex extension, however.
might be easier if readers want to quick-read a manga without waiting the pages to load.

an option for uploaders to make their works can't be downloaded, better to be considered too.

sorry if this matter has been discused (or rejected), but i didn't find particular suggestion in the 'Planned and Rejected Features' page.

It was a planned feature but now it's no longer in the post so I guess it means they don't have any plans to add it.

This would be a really great feature to have.

I'm also in favor of this feature. In cases where the scanlators have a site it's usually not a problem because I can download it there, but some of them have their stuff on MangaDex exclusively, or are a group that disbanded and no longer has a site.

Maybe the scanlators can decide whether the chapter can be downloaded or not.

We have enough bandwidth issues as it is - openly endorsing downloading isn't going to help with that.

There are enough third party tools out there that will enable you to download as it is.
