Well...All I can say, really, is that it's very true to the original DBZ in how both of them are pretty darn boring.
"Oh no, a new foe!"
"Better transform #2!"
"Oh no, he is now stronger!"
"Transformation #3!"

I think the anime is generally more interesting since you at least have the animation. In manga-form, you have very brief storyboards.

The art is good but the story is sadly shitty. The first 17 chapters are just a copy paste of dragon ball z/gt fights and enemies while the new story arch seems quite dumb...
