I appreciate how the translator took care to preserve Chichi and Goku's unique "country" accents. They both come from out of the way, rural backgrounds, so it shouldn't be a surprise that both of them talk like hicks. It's a shame the dubs didn't bother to preserve that (unless I'm misremembering things). There are a lot of hilarious things in the original Japanese (like how Gohan talks properly despite being raised by these two) that I wish more people knew about.
