Dream Life: Yume no Isekai Seikatsu - Ch. 1

@kenkagejack - being successful most of the time is normal for adventurer-types. It's only Warhammer40k based games that have low success percentages as the norm, because it's a world of suckiness where people have swords as backup to their guns (since they can't hit anything with a gun). For example, in GURPS , 90% probability of success (skill 14) on unmodified roll is considered normal level for adventure-ready skills, while 75% (skill 12) is normal level for everyday job.

What you should keep in mind, is skill penalties. Adventurers will often have to do harder-than-average things, like climbing while being fired on by goblin archers. Epic heroes have to do impossible things all the time.

Looking at his character sheet, it seems you can't get less than 50 in stats. I like that (and hate Warhammer, where you can't get more than 50 in stats).

@flannan Ah, I was basing it on Call of Cthulhu where everyone's an ordinary person and rolling under your skill level was a success, thus 100% skills for non-epic victims caught in supernatural situations.

@kenkagejack - as you might imagine, Call of Cthulhu isn't a good fit for isekai wish fulfillment story. Something like Exalted might be a better fit.
Now that I think about it, all percentile-based role-playing systems seem to be some kind of horror.

WAIT A SECOND, if washing hands after poop is alien concept to these guys, and there's no other substitute material like paper, sand, heck I don't even see a single leaf there......then....flakey hands....crusty ass.....dear God....the smell...

@ClinTEastwooD Welcome to the middle ages where, in major cities, you have to be careful when walking under windows because somebody could be emptying their chamber pot into the street.
