So rapist savages go around freely kidnapping people in town and everyone is alright with that? MC didn't even heard of them? Extremely unrealistic. Given culture of this town it wouldn't be surprising if after repeated offences they would be hunted down.
Unless people, laws or other familia doesn't matter if you are in familia. Which would mean that MC could assassinate everyone freely without any consequence. So yeah... Logic doesn't exist here.
