So she kills the guy who rescued her and then goes on to murder an innocent woman, as well as her kids, because they’re related to the guy who wronged her? Moreover, her idea of atonement is to kill her former friend that she herself has wronged?

usually, the manga are adapted from the Light novel (version re-edited by a proper publisher so it has been refined and the author can ask to change the story if he wasn't satisfied by his earlier work) and not the web novel (the version the author write on a special website or his/her own blog)

What you've probably read before (thanks for the now disappeared paichun I guess, RIP) is the web-novel... And it was way crazier and darker....

maybe the manga is already censoring most of the light novel anyway for a larger public and not end up as a guro manga on a H site

edit: nevermind, I just verified that paichun did tanslated the LN version, so the manga is just taking liberties

But there is no indication that any of that happened in the manga adaptation; so based on what we see, there is no justification for most of her actions.

Do spoil it for me though, how does her and Junpei’s conflict get resolved in the LN?

From what I gathered in this chapter, she knows she did bad by him, and has to repent for it. Her idea of doing it, is putting him out of his misery, thus decreasing his pain and her guilt.

Sane ? Debatable, but after what she seemed to have gone through, sanity usually changes

well i just read what she been throught long time ago didnt read more than that

but you can still see shes got raped and more. shes a slave (sex slave) and shes got "trained" you can imagine what shes been throught with the training or not if you are pure and you dont read strange manga/doujin
