that curse on his chest seems like those symbols representing planets? Style is probably mixed with Celtic Runes that's why is on the cursive side yet retain that single stroke like look to it...

My heart.

This started out so warm and fluffy, with his cute little crush on her and her not really acknowledging her own attraction. But now that she’s realized she has proper feelings for him, the appearance of this curse is heartbreaking. The way they drew her tearing up and immediately asking for a hug... that hit me in the feels big time. I hope this doesn’t go down the tragedy path.

I’d be cool with some weird solution like her sharing her lifeforce with him, so that it shortens her elven lifespan but lengthens his human one. So their lives are literally tied together from then on, and when it’s time, both of them go together.
