You mean giving the END tag to oneshot chapters in their respective pages? I don't really see the point, especially in the case of title pages being only the oneshot, with the oneshot tag, where the only thing uploaded is the oneshot/promo, I mean, there is nothing else except maybe some extras that were done after but they are that, extras.

Afaik the END label can be moved to extras by changing the Last Chapter to 205.5 instead of 205.
As for oneshots... I think it's already self-explanatory.

Some ppl make titles for promo only, some upload promo + chapters.
I've seen ppl thinking that oneshot meant something else... or promo meant there will be a series ( more chapters) uploaded in this title.

i meant END tag/status for Promos+Oneshots:
Promo: https://mangadex.org/title/58802/don-t-be-obsessed-with-a-spirit-like-me

let's say someone uploaded a oneshot and after 2-3 days extras but you read oneshot in the first day and marked it as completed.

Don't

So, if I get it correctly, you want people to tag oneshots/promos with END tags to let readers know that there is nothing else besides that, correct? No serialization or more chapters of a series.

@Richman yep

@YumGumYum I know what the tag is lol. I didn't understand the point because you didn't explain yourself at all and seemed to assume I'm a mind reader.

The word "Oneshot" in and of itself means that it's... a oneshot. There's literally no point to an END tag with a oneshot. Not to mention the way we've currently implemented that system means that the tag is automatically applied to all chapters that have a specific, non-empty chapter number (and optionally a volume number), and obviously a oneshot has neither of those. The tag isn't applied per chapter, it's applied per manga, so if the tag applied to empty numbers, in the worst case you could conceivably have several different chapters each with an END tag.

If someone's misusing the Oneshot tag or the name, or leaving it out when it should be left in, report it.
