Even If the World Is Over It's Fun to Live - Vol. 2 Ch. 8 - A Half Forgotten Sound

How sweet. She finally found a friend she can converse with. But now I'm worried that something bad will happen to Lulu soon for maximum feels.

They even flipped the letters when Lulu speaks, this is so high quality. Thank you!!!! This series is becoming one of my favourites. Maybe it's a spiritual prequel of The Mist, or sequel depending on universes and such.

Nice chapter, having a companion to actually talk and share a campfire with in such desolate circumstances would be a huge thing for her no matter how well she'd kept up her spirits until then. The mixture of comfy/horror world building remains interesting as well.

Great chapter as usual, and top-notch editing work!
Lulu is absolutely adorable, let's hope she stick around.

Yeah - this is working out to be just as good as I had hoped it would be. And this was an especially good chapter.

Again, for anyone who hasn't - I strongly recommend reading this mangaka's previous work - Kyoukai Senjou no Limbo. It's very good and unfortunately underappreciated, and shows just how skilled he(?) is at creating interesting and charming characters, and with this whole theme of hope in the face of adversity.

Strong Dungeon Meshi vibes crossed with heartwarming Hakumei & Mikochi vibes.

Wonderful chapter, seeing her hunt and harvest to survive. And a companion to say her name, I genuinely had a sniffle.

Seriously, what is with the saliva chemical test I wonder? There's gotta be a very solid explanation. My guess is that non-fog saliva reacts with fog-mutated food, and fog-mutated saliva reacts with non-fog food. In which case, is the fog some type of nanobot swarm, or is it your generic handwavium super-disease/parasite from another dimension? It seems biological in nature from what we've seen so far with the gate/portal thing and the "bears".
