That is kinda depressing in a way.

Suzuka only wanted to help Kazu, and help him choose his path on his own. Only to find out that Tamamo had done it instead. Thus what she had hoped would be a beloved moment where Kazu chose his path with her at his side, was tainted by Tamamo's influence (even if Tamamo herself didn't intend to wreck such a moment).
