Uuugh this arc is getting more painful to read
@Wolvenworks It gets worse from here, much worse. The next parts have already been on mangapark for a while
With all that said I have no idea why I'm still reading it. It doesn't feel like revenge would be worth it since I don't expect the author will let the MC do anything bad enough that it would make all of this nonsense worth it.
The blue haired girl was the mastermind. The MC's master calculates his disciple met trouble, enters the mysterious land and falls into an ancient killing array with the MC. He sacrifices himself to save her and seemingly dies. As MC escapes she meets the blue haired girl who taunts her, and it turns out seaweed ghost also betrayed her they arranged for her to fall into the ancient killing array. MC finally returns to tranquility sect and gets framed by the blue haired girl and seaweed for killing all the disciples and gets thrown into prison. Also, brother Baili also turns out to have cooperated in plotting against MC as well because apparently blue haired girl was holding 1500 of his clansmen hostage.
MC doesn't want to escape because she wants to prove her innocence but has to because people are coming to kill her and Lin the bird child helps her. The blue haired girl again appears and destroys the spiritual intelligence of Lin turning it into an ordinary beast, she mocks the MC a lot more. She says Elder Mu died because of MC, Yingchong Han was possessed by his internal demon and she put a curse on him so he is being tortured in dreamland, and Lin was turned into an ordinary beast, not to mention all the disciples she killed. Blue girl blames it all on MC and urges her to commit suicide, MC resists so she stabs MC dissipating her cultivation and stealing the reincarnation mirror.
Baili shows up to save MC's life, MC wakes up sees he's the masked stranger who stole the tower and jumps into purgatory valley saying she'd rather die than be saved by him. A Lion and Gorilla at the bottom make a bet whether the girl who jumped down is already dead, Luo Buo the ghost sacrifices itself to try and save its master and that's where we're currently at. Btw the blue girl did all this because she was refused as a disciple by the MC's master so she's jealous why he accepted MC as a disciple instead since she has never been refused before, also to get reincarnation mirror.
