@421cookies they attach them selves by eating the flesh of where they bite and then they sort of fuse with the female angler fish (The one with the light bulb). That's how they become a sex organ, though sex organ would be incorrect to say, more like sperm bank or something, the point is after the male angler fish attaches to the female it fertilizes the eggs at some given point inside the female.
